Coaching for IITJEE

Deteriorating quality of students going to IIT is a matter of concern. Some people say that coaching classes are responsible for this. How is it possible? Since coaching classes are helping the students to clear the IITJEE, as per the pattern of examination, and syllabus. If suppose some student is being helped by someone then what is wrong about it? And we all know that our students need guidance. Some students can prepare for exam on their own but some may not do the same. So guidance is required.

Lowering quality is due to low quality assessment of the students. I mean the quality of exam has gone down. I myself has cleared the IITJEE, and those days the examination papers were aimed to grill the students in all areas. There were many types of questions in the exam and the same are as follows.

1. Objective type questions with only one answer correct

2. Objective type questions with more than one possible answers

3. Fill in the blanks.

4. True and False

5. Match the columns.

6. Subjective questions.

One can easily understand the type of test was very systematic and it was able to assess the analytical capability of the student. The students who used to prepare for exams extensively by going thru each and every little details of the syllabus, were only selected. Coaching were existing at that time also. But only deserving one were selected in IITJEE.

Just look at the examination paper at present. It is just a formality kind of testing knowledge. Good students suffer due to poor level of exam because the level of difficulty of paper has started including poor or average students also in competition. Earlier pattern of paper was aimed to ensure that no one gets selected by chance or just by mugging up some concepts at superficial level even without understanding.

Government (Mr sibal at present) people must stop interfering educational system on their own way. At present only one person is trying to change the system according to his thinking. Every one should request mr sibal to please stop all this. He has already damaged the examination system of tenth class. Now he is aiming to destroy other examinations also. Mr sibal must form a group of educationists from all over country, and these people must decide the system change when needed. Mr Sibal is educated otherwise most of these politicians are not having any good qualification and how can we expect them to decide about system of education. Everyone must communicate somehow so that the destructive approach towards educational system may be stopped.
